Stephanie Butler
Stephanie has graced the stage with her presence since the age of two, bitten by the performance bug. She began dancing competitively at the age of nine and loved it every time her studio received a platinum. After getting Associate Degrees in both Acting and Musical Theatre from KD Conservatory, Stephanie went on to get her BA at the University of Arizona. In the summer of 2013, Stephanie was hired to work at Ursuline to pick up the morning 7 am dance classes, part-time. Ten years later, she’s full-time, directing one of the four shows in Ursuline’s season, choreographing the spring musical, and has since introduced ballet, tap, hip-hop, and Broadway dance to the school’s rotation. Along with teaching all of Ursuline’s dance classes, she also loves to teach things like Acting Improvisation and Stage makeup.
When Stephanie is not teaching, she is performing all over DFW for theatre companies such as Irving Mainstage, Garland Summer Musicals, and Echo Theatre.
“I don’t know what it would be like for me if I did not teach or perform. And frankly, I don’t want to think about it.”
