Brittany Sisk

Brittany began her dancing career at the age of 2! She danced with the Festival Ballet and was taught by Victoria Hill and Hugh Nini at the Denton Ballet Academy until age seven. She then moved to Illinois where she had the opportunity to continue her training at the Judith Svalander School of Ballet. In addition to the training provided by Judith Svalander, she studied with Roger Turner, Edward Villela, Randy Duncan, Marek Cholewa, Bob Rizzo, Gus Giordano, Patsy Swayze, and several company dancers from the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago. Brittany returned to Texas as a sophomore in high school and continued her dance training at the Denton Ballet Academy. She was selected to join the Denton High School Fillies Drill Team her junior year and became a senior lieutenant.

Brittany began her Texas Christian University dance training in the fall of 2003 and completed her double BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance in 2007. In addition to the wonderful faculty at TCU (including Elizabeth Gillaspy, Susan Douglas Roberts, Ellen Page Shelton, Diane West, Andrea Harris, and Li-Chou Cheng), Brittany has had the opportunity to perform choreography by Michelle Dexter, Christian Von Howard, Andee Scott, Fernando Bujones, and Alonzo King. Throughout her years of training and performing, Brittany has danced in Cinderella, Swan Lake, Giselle, and has been in The Nutcracker over 20 times!

Brittany started working at Preston Center Dance in 2007 teaching all styles of dance. She is the founder of the Performing Company and has built up the Drill program to its current success. She is privileged to be the Director of Drill and Co-Director of the Preparatory Company at the studio. She teaches master classes and choreographs throughout the DFW metroplex. Brittany has performed in numerous charity events such as DIFFA and Crystal Charity Ball. She enjoys working with Dallas La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas every year. She has worked closely with the Highland Belles under the direction of Shannon Phillips choreographing and training the new Belles for the past 10 years. Brittany is always striving to better herself as a dancer and teacher which inspires a fierce talent for training and creative choreography.

She lives in North Texas with her husband and two daughters Harper and Reagan.

This will be her 17th year teaching at Preston Center Dance.
